Hey there! I’m committed to keeping your personal information safe and secure. Here’s how I handle the info you share with me when you visit www.collingwoodphotographer.ca or contact me about photography services.
What Information Do I Collect?
Pretty much only what you choose to tell me:
• Your name, email, phone number when you reach out
• Project details like property addresses or shoot dates
• Basic website info (like what pages you visit) to make the site work better
I don’t collect sensitive stuff like health info or financial details unless you send it by mistake (and even then, I’ll delete it if I don’t need it).
Why Do I Need It?
Simple — to do my job well:
• Answer your questions and book your shoot
• Send you updates about your project
• Share occasional news about new services (you can always say “stop”)
Who Gets to See It?
Just me (and maybe a trusted payment processor if you're paying online). I never sell or rent your info. I only share what's absolutely needed to get your project done right.
How Long Do I Keep It?
Only as long as I need to finish your project or meet legal requirements. After that, it's securely deleted.

Keeping It Safe
I use reasonable safeguards—physical, technical, and administrative—to protect your info against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
Key measures:
- Encryption/SSL for sensitive data (Locks your info with secret codes so hackers can’t read it)
- Access limited to me + essential service providers
- Secure storage on protected devices
No system is 100% hacker-proof, but I do everything reasonable to keep you safe.
